We haven't posted a podcast in a while, but Jon, Shane, and Bryan come roaring back with a discussion of the just-ended seasons of Silicon Valley and Barry. Barium is an element, like silicon is, and it sounds like Barry. Get it?

We wrap up our Silicon Veep-ey series just in time, as Bryan is as frustrated with Veep as he is in love with smart fridge-based plot twists. In our final discussion of these two HBO comedies, we take time out to plug heroin (as if it needs the advertising) and buck up podcasting amateur Malcolm Gladwell.
 We're late and Shane-less in discussing two episodes of Silicon Valley (The Patent Troll, The Keenan Vortex) and one episode of Veep (Judge), but Bryan and Jon make the best of it. We praise the brief appearance of Ed Chambers and attempt to patch things up with Alabama. It's one thing to alienate anti-vaxxers from our listener-ship. We can't write off a whole state.
 We get back in the swing of things with a couple of strong episodes. We talk about the latest episodes of Silicon Valley and Veep, Shane and Bryan jockey for who should be the CTO of the MMC, and Jon wins an award.
 This week's episodes sapped our energy as effectively as Shane's new baby usually saps his. Selina's overseas trip crosses a threshold in a pitch-black Veep, while Silicon Valley goes through a less depressing dip, but a dip nonetheless. Bryan also reveals one of his greatest fears: having one of his kids named after a prince.
 Selina goes to Mike-led therapy in Veep and Jared continues to dominate Silicon Valley. Jon, Shane, and Bryan discuss this week's ups and downs, while Shane also breaks out his Russian accent and the MMC Grammar Police charge not once, but twice, onto the scene.
 In our latest discussion of Silicon Valley and Veep, we give the business to various Dursts, Jon laments that he's never met a goat, and in the word cloud that is this episode, abortion takes up a not-insignificant amount of space.
 Jon, Shane, and Bryan's discussion of HBO's spring comedies prompts concern that there might be a poisoning close to home, matching the events of this week's episode of Veep, while our Silicon Valley talk reveals that Jon knows very little about whatever Snapchat is.
 Our Who Won the Week segment from our Game of Thrones recaps has transformed itself into a new series, in which we talk about the fourth and sixth seasons of HBO comedies Silicon Valley and Veep. We are reminded once again that Jared from Silicon Valley does indeed fuck, discuss the presence or absence of hot streaks, and we learn that Shane will not be snapped at.
