Jon, Ashli, Blair, and Superfan Megan have a loose discussion of the first half of Stranger Things. While some of us have our quibbles, all agree that Toto's Africa is a great song. We also accidentally dox the Social Services Assassin. Sorry, Social Services Assassin!

The usual crew talks about dreams they have when they're powerless, Doogie Howser, and Malcolm Gladwell, and gets some Deadwood talk in there, too. Some recording issues: there's a period where screams can be heard in the background. No one was being murdered, Stranger Things was being watched downstairs of the recording studio. Time to invest in some egg crates.
 Jon, Shane, and Drew have a cordial discussion about how much of a Jesus allegory E.T. is, and struggle to remember a movie Ice-T is in. They all essentially agree on Straight Outta Compton's flaws as a biopic while disagreeing on who steals the show. Also, why are scorpions such dicks?
Jon, Shane, and Bryan discuss the opening of Deadwood's final season. Jon's still alone in his love of Joanie Stubbs, but we can all agree that Richardson doesn't get enough screen time. Turn him loose on Hearst, and all the town's problems are solved.
